Hi there and welcome to
Camp at the Lodge
at Manor Lodge school.
Lee and Emma @ Proactive have been delivering and working with children for over 20 years in a variety of different disciplines from daily sports coaching, to children's parties, holiday camps and a variety of specialised sports. With this previous experience we are able to adapt our approach to many different activities and also the needs of the individual child.
As well as delivering many of the ever popular camp activities we are adding in some new exciting ones, making the most of the wonderful outdoor space that Manor lodge school provides. The camp at the lodge ethos is to introduce children to a range of activities which will challenge them but more importantly ensure they have a maximum amount of fun in a safe and caring environment. The twist of being able to provide a wilderness camp environment while giving the children the choice of a variety of activities throughout the day and not just one daily choice. We will even have an area in which the children can decide in one session to 'chill out' and do arts and crafts, read or play board games within the amazing outdoor classroom.
With our 20 years of experience our camps have been designed for your child to have an amazing time. The social aspect of camp is of paramount importance with children making new and lasting friendships. Our vibrant and friendly team of coaches will ensure that your child feels comfortable as soon as they arrive.

Child Safety
Using our many years of experience, our camps have been designed with child safety as our priority. All staff are fully trained on camp policies, safeguarding and are DBS certificated. We keep to very strict ratios of 1:8 for the under 8's and 1:12 for over 8's; there are always additional staff on hand for any eventuality ensuring that we are able to fulfil your child's needs at all times. We work closely with governing bodies to keep abreast of all changes regarding child care and apply the highest standards of care and safety that any parent would expect.
Health and hygiene are constantly monitored and fire, incident and accident procedures are known to all staff and are strictly adhered to. Policies and procedures are available for viewing at the camp office by prior arrangement.
Your child, whist with us will be covered under our Public liability Insurance. Company Insurance certificates are available for viewing at the camp office.
Registration is a chance for you to advise us of any special requirements, provide us with labelled medication e.g. Epi-pen's, or your child's idiosyncrasies that may help us make sure your child has a fantastic day and add to their enrichment while with us. Then your job is done and we take over, you can be assured when you leave your child in our capable hands that they will have an amazing time and will be returned to you at the end of the day tired but extremely happy.
Our Staff
One of our greatest strengths because we work full time with children throughout the year is that we are able to employ a number of dedicated specialists who have been handpicked for their child friendly approach, many of which are qualified in play work.
The atmosphere on camp is created by a team who really enjoy working with children and are able to create a safe caring atmosphere whilst keeping fun at the centre of everything.
Every child matters and with this in mind our excellent team will give everyone a time to remember.
